Top Chef Host Padma Lakshmi Welcomes Baby Girl Krishna

Top Chef‘s Padma Lakshmi has let her bun out of the oven — and it’s a baby girl.

“Model, author and Emmy-nominated host of Top Chef Padma Lakshmi gave birth to a baby girl named Krishna Thea Lakshmi on Saturday,” her rep said.  “Mother and baby are well and happy.”

39-year-old Padma’s pregnancy had been shrouded with the mystery of “Who da baby daddy?” similar to Minnie Driver and most every pregnant character in every soap opera.  Although she has not identified the baby’s father, many tabloids have reported he is none other than venture capitalist / Columbia Business School professor Adam Dell, 40 — who just happens to be brother of billionaire computer mogul Michael Dell.

Sources say Krishna plans to utter her first words when she sees Uncle Mike:  “Your laptop batteries suck!”

Congratulations to Padma on her beautiful, clearly techno-savvy little girl.
