Michael Jackson Moonwalks to the Big Stage in the Sky

Certainly not the best day for celebrity icons…

On the heels of Farrah Fawcett’s passing, the King of Pop and father of three, Michael Jackson, has also died after being rushed to UCLA Medical Center, NBC News has confirmed.  MJ was only 50 years old.

Man.  That’s just crazy, isn’t it?

Los Angeles Fire Department Capt. Steve Ruda told the L.A. Times that Jackson was not breathing when paramedics arrived at his home and CPR was performed.

TMZ.com reported that he may have suffered cardiac arrest.  But I’m sure MANY various accounts of his recent health and activities will be dug up by the tabloids emerge.

MJ may have been a strange man with questionable personal behavior; however, the amazing legacy of his music is beyond compare.  Go to any lame party where people are practically falling asleep in the punch bowl, and put on any Michael Jackson song, and BOOM!  Instant dance floor.

One of the greatest entertainers of all time, that’s for damn sure.

Michael is survived by his many siblings, his three children Prince Michael I, Paris Michael and Prince Michael II, and my fond childhood memories of his Tiger Beat poster hanging on my bedroom wall.
