Flower Girl Thinks Wedding Ceremony is Perfect Time for a Snooze

Many kids protest having to take a nap, but this flower girl actually put herself to sleep… in the middle of a wedding.

“JUST WAKE ME UP WHEN YOU GET TO THE ‘I DO’ STUFF, OKAY?” she probably was about to say before that man came over and rudely interrupted her nap.

I have to admit, I’ve wanted to say that at more than a few weddings as well.  Which isn’t surprising, considering my own track record of being a flower girl.  Two minutes into my Aunt Sue’s wedding, four-year-old Candy yelled:  “IS IT OVER YET?”

Seriously. They lost me at “dearly beloved.” What that ceremony needed was more Captain Kangaroo and bouncy houses and coyotes dropping anvils and less yapping by that man with the white scarf!
