- A teenage Girl Scout launches a cookie boycott campaign to protest the organization’s inclusion of a transgender child. Uh, two boxes of Thin Mints for me, please.
- Missed afternoon naps could put toddlers at risk for mood disorders. What a coincidence — when my toddler refuses to take her afternoon nap, I get in a lousy mood, too.
- Woman gives birth on China Eastern Airlines flight. Key quote from flight attendant: “I was frightened when the baby’s head came out but the body was still stuck. I asked myself to calm down and firmly held the woman’s hand and tried hard to recall what I learned in emergency training.” Yikes. However, no word on whether they had to use the seat cushions as a floatation device when the woman’s water broke.
- Study: Blogging makes new moms happy. Of course, I think any platform for bragging about our babies makes us new moms happy. (By the way, did I mention Drew turns seven months old today and is the cutest 7-month-old in the world? True story.)
