Unexpected Baby Daddy Update: Hugh Grant is a Dad

Surprise!  Hugh Grant has become a daddy at 51 years of age.  Yes, the king of self-deprecating, immature-yet-likable romantic comedy characters and infamous real-life playboy has welcomed a baby girl following a brief affair with an unidentified woman, his spokeswoman said on Tuesday.

“I can confirm that Hugh Grant is the delighted father of a baby girl. He and the mother had a fleeting affair and while this was not planned, Hugh could not be happier or more supportive. He and the mother have discussed everything and are on very friendly terms,” said Hugh’s spokeswoman via e-mail.

Although this is the first child for the Bridget Jones actor, as you can see from the picture, he has plenty of experience with young girls.

Congrats, Papa Hugh!

P.S.  You would have made an awesome replacement for Charlie on Two-and-A-Half Men.  *Sigh*
