Jason Bateman Expecting Daughter Numero Two

Jason Bateman, whose career has recently enjoyed a resurrection only surpassed by John Travolta’s, and wife of 10 years, Amanda Anka, are about to become parents for the second time.  Apparently, Jason’s father-in-law spilled the beans.  (Ah, in-laws.)

“I’m going to be a grandfather again,” Amanda’s father, singer Paul Anka, tells ET Canada.

Hopefully the couple, who are already parents to 4½-year-old daughter Francesca Nora, saved some of their baby clothes because it’s “another baby girl,” proud grandpa Anka also reveals.

I’m surprised he didn’t tell us where they conceived.  (Actually, I’m sure if he’d known, he would have told us.)

On a cuter note, Anka gushes about Jason, 42, saying: “He’s … a very smart boy, a wonderful guy for my daughter.”

A father gushing about a son-in-law?  Now that’s not something you hear every day.
