Carla Bruni-Sarkozy Makes Pregnancy Look Ridiculously Chic

While I’m carting my nine-months-pregnant bump around in jeggings and a tank top, France’s first lady and former model, Carla Bruni-Sarkozy, who is four months pregnant, is putting me to shame by donning a white maternity shift and a black wool coat at the the G8 Summit in Deauville.  She reportedly gestured towards her belly for photographers while posing alongside Svetlana Medvedeva, wife of the Russian president.

Not that she has much choice but to go public with her pregnancy, what with her father-in-law spilling the beans to the German newspaper Bild, saying, “I’m certain it will be a girl and beautiful like Carla.”

Don’t you just love when your in-laws announce your pregnancy to the world for you?
