Go Green Without Spending Too Much Green with Promo Code at All-Organic Site

Show a little love to Mother Earth and your wallet by shopping at the all-organic food, body care and baby product site, Yes To Carrots, next week — which, yes, just happens to be Earth Week.  To celebrate Earth Week, Yes To will be offering 25% off all products site-wide, beginning Monday, April 18th, through Sunday, April 24th.  Simply enter the promotion code EARTH when checking out.

Yes To, through its non-profit arm, the Yes To Seed Fund, is also thrilled to announce a partnership with Whole Foods Market to help build school and community gardens in 2011. With a joint mission of giving kids fun and engaging ways to learn about nutrition and the importance of fruits & veggies, Yes To will be giving out Seed Fund School Garden Grants to local schools in partnering Whole Foods regions that are committed to building school gardens. Yes To will be awarding TEN $2,000 grants (for schools in the Northern California region and the Pacific Northwest’ region) as well as five additional $500 ‘Seed Fund Starter Grants,’ available to schools across the country. Schools can apply at: www.yestocarrots.com/seedfundgardens from April 1st through May 31st. Seed Fund Garden Grant recipients will be announced on June 15th.

Because sharing is caring, as I tell my kids. (Except my wine. Never my wine.)

A humor columnist for Disney, Nickelodeon, Scary Mommy, Reductress and Redbook, she also used to be a staff writer for the soap opera, The Bold and the Beautiful, where she penned many scripts featuring prolonged heated stares and countless “Who’s the Daddy?” story lines. Candy lives in Los Angeles with her husband, two young kids and three rescue Persian cats, the latter of whom are the real brains behind this operation (so send all complaints to them).
