Your Weekend Céline Dion Update (You KNOW You’ve Been Waiting for It): The Singer Welcomes Twin Boys

The reality of having to change multiple diapers hits Celine
Céline Dion, whose song, “My Heart Will Go On,” I totally rock on American Idol for Wii, is now the proud mama of fraternal twin boys — also known in medical circles as “a freakin’ handful.”
“Celine, René and their son René-Charles are thrilled,” says Céline’s rep.
One of the babies weighed in at 5 lbs., 4 oz., with the other at 5 lbs., 10 oz.
Céline’s doctor revealed that the delivery was done via C-section, and that the twins were both born with a good amount of hair. So no baby toupees for them!
The twins are healthy, thankfully, but will spend the next few days in an incubator because they were born premature.
“Celine is resting now and they plan to discuss what to name the boys when she wakes up,” Céline’s rep adds. “René-Charles has been to the hospital to visit his brothers and is just so excited they are here.”
Until they’re old enough to steal and lose his toys, that is.
In celebration of this great occasion, I also would like to share my favorite news headline on this story, courtesy of the L.A. Times:
Céline Dion’s ‘Power of Love’ brings twin boys
Wow. That song reference wasn’t forced AT ALL! *Ahem*
Congrats to the Céline clan!
