Why, I had no idea she and James Van Der Beek were even dating!  Congrats, you crazy kids —

Wait a second.  My cats trusty work staff inform me that is NOT Dawson Leery but, in fact, a rapper called Souleye  (real name: Mario Treadway).  Who happens to be Alanis’ husband.

My bad.

“We’re very excited to embark on this journey with each other,” Alanis announced — where else? — on her Twitter page.

When I shared this news with Mr. Candy, he got all excited:  “Oooohhhh, I hope she has a terrible time with morning sickness and gets inspired to write angry, angst-y music again!”

YES!

Er, I mean… we wish you a beautiful, stress-free pregnancy, Alanis.  Really!  *Ahem*
