Sigourney Weaver Laments James Cameron’s Lack of Oscar and Breasts

The Aliens must have absconded with Sigourney Weaver’s brain, because she is clearly not in possession of it.

While promoting Avatar in Brazil, Sigourney told a news site that James Cameron — who lost out to his ex-wife, “The Hurt Locker” director Kathryn Bigelow — didn’t win the Oscar because:  “Jim didn’t have breasts, and I think that was the reason.  He should have taken home that Oscar.”

Um, yeah, the Academy favors women SO much, that Kathryn was the first female director to ever win the Oscar!  Makes sense.

Unfortunately, Sigourney continued flapping her gums, adding, “In the past, ‘Avatar’ would have won because they [Oscar voters] loved to hand out awards to big productions, like ‘Ben-Hur.’  Today it’s fashionable to give the Oscar to a small movie that nobody saw.”

Too bad losing with grace isn’t “fashionable.”
