Kelly Rutherford Welcomes Baby Girl, Sadly Does Not Name Her After Designer Handbag

After lots o’ baby daddy divorce drama, Gossip Girl star Kelly Rutherford has given birth to a healthy baby girl named Helena Grace Rutherford Giersch.

Helena Grace weighed in at 8 pounds 12 ounces, which would seem somewhat large to most folks, but not to my family!  If the kid’s less than 10 pounds, s/he is downright petite.  (When I recently informed my doctor that I was 9 lbs., 14 oz. and that my cousin just had an 11-pound baby VAGINALLY, she said, “Whoa.”)

This is the second child for Kelly, who also has a two-year-old son, Hermès.   Yes, as in the bag.  Kinda bummed that she didn’t name her daughter Birkin.
