Graco Recalls “Unstable” High Chairs

Yet another scary recall:  Graco just announced that it’s recalling 1.2 million Harmony high chairs because of stability issues.  And by “stability issues,” they mean “tip over unexpectedly.”

Twenty-four injuries have been reported as a result of the screws loosening and falling out — awesome! — as well as the plastic bracket on the rear legs cracking.

The chair, produced from 2003 to 2009, was sold at Target, Toys ‘R’ Us and Wal-Mart.

Parents are urged to stop using the high chair (yeah, no kidding) and place orders for Graco’s free repair kits, consisting of two leg screws and a leg brace, on the company’s Web site.
